A: This vest does not have concealed carry pockets, just regular pockets which will be too small for most pistols, though many of the leather vests starting at a little over $40 do have gun pockets. Also depends on your climate. Leather does not repel water very well, getting soaked can cause it to get stiff or mildewy unless you rub water proofing oil on it, which can shorten it's life span and cause dry rot if it prevents it from breathing. A: You can wrap a measuring tape around the largest part of your torso, whether it is your chest or belly, then round up to nearest chest size on the chart. If you plan to wear anything thick such as a jacket underneath, you'll want to put the jacket on then measure over the jacket. Otherwise just over your shirt is fine. Make sure the tape is snug, but not so tight it is squeezing you.

They are usually pretty snug if you follow the chart, so if you prefer a looser fit I would go up a size larger. Answer provided by:  Matt Laridon (3/22/2019)
